Travel

Travel is included free of charge for appointments within 15 miles of my practice base in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

For appointments beyond this distance, travel is charged at £1.50 per mile, calculated one way from mile 16 onwards.

For longer journeys:

• Appointments involving two or more people at the same location – mileage is shared equally between clients.
• Single-client bookings requiring travel of over 80 miles may be charged at a day rate (see below).

If you are unsure whether travel charges apply to your location, please feel free to ask when booking.

Day Rate

A day rate of £300 applies to non-corporate bookings only, where long-distance travel or appointment structure means availability for other clients is significantly limited.

This typically applies to:

• Long-distance single-client visits
• Full-day individual bookings

All details are agreed in advance.

Emergency & Out-of-Hours Call-Out

Appointments requested after 6pm incur an additional £50 emergency call-out fee.

Emergency weekend appointments incur a higher call-out fee, reflecting short-notice and limited availability.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available to purchase for EMMETT appointments.

• Vouchers can be posted directly to the recipient
• Postage is free

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment is due on the day of the appointment, unless agreed in advance.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge
