Pet Bereavement Support in Kent, Sussex & Surrey

Losing a beloved animal can feel utterly devastating. The bond you shared was real, deep, and woven into everyday life, so when it ends, the grief can be overwhelming, isolating, and hard to put into words.
As a mobile complementary therapist in Kent, Sussex & Surrey, with almost 30 years’ NHS critical care nursing experience, I offer calm, compassionate pet bereavement support for people who want to be gently held through this difficult time.

My approach is quiet, respectful, and deeply human, grounded in clinical experience, emotional safety, and genuine understanding of how profound animal loss can be.

What I offer:

A safe, non-judgemental space

Grief after the loss of a pet can bring sadness, shock, guilt, anger, numbness, sometimes all at once. Many people feel they “should be coping better” or worry that others don’t understand.
Our sessions provide a confidential, supportive space where everything you’re feeling is welcome, without judgement or pressure to move on.

Personalised emotional support

There is no right way to grieve. I work alongside you at your pace, helping you gently explore what this loss means for you, whether your pet was elderly, taken suddenly, or you were involved in end-of-life decisions.

Support is always tailored to you, drawing on my background as a complementary therapist in Kent, Sussex and Surrey, and my long clinical experience supporting people through loss, trauma, and change.

Honouring your animal’s life

For many people, healing includes finding meaningful ways to remember their animal. This might be through quiet rituals, memory-keeping, or simply speaking their name aloud in a space where it feels safe. I can gently support you to find what feels right for you

Who this support is for

This service is for people who:

  • Want gentle, professional support that respects their bond with their animal
  • Value calm, experienced, light-touch therapeutic support rather than advice or platitudes

Many clients also know me as a light touch therapy practitioner in Kent, Sussex & Surrey, supporting people and animals through change, and choose this service because they want the same respectful, consent-led approach for their grief.

Gentle reassurance

  • There is no timeline for grief
  • Loving an animal deeply means their loss can hurt deeply
  • You don’t have to justify your feelings to anyone here
  • Support can be emotional, quiet, and steady, not intense or overwhelming

My role is not to rush your healing, but to walk beside you with compassion, safety, and understanding.

If you feel drawn to gentle, respectful support during this time, you’re welcome to get in touch.
We can start with a short, no-pressure conversation and take things from there, in a way that feels right for you.
