Red Light Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to support the body's natural healing processes. It may help reduce pain and inflammation, encourage tissue repair, and improve recovery following injury or periods of increased discomfort.
Sessions are available for both people and animals and can be provided as a standalone treatment or alongside an Emmett Technique session where clinically appropriate.
Standalone Red Light Therapy Sessions
Single Session
Ideal for ongoing support, maintenance, or when a single treatment is appropriate.
Humans: £50
Dogs: £45
Horses: £60
Acute Recovery Programmes
When an injury or flare-up is recent, the body often benefits from receiving treatment over a shorter period. Rather than waiting a week or more between appointments, closely spaced sessions provide consistent support during the early stages of healing.
Accelerated Option (most popular).
Three treatments provided within one week to support recovery from recent injuries, muscular strains, joint flare-ups or post-activity soreness.
Suitable for:
* Recent muscular or soft tissue injuries
* Acute neck or back pain
* Tendon or ligament strains
* Sporting injuries
* Dogs or horses showing signs of recent discomfort or reduced mobility
Humans: £135
Dogs: £120
Horses: £165
Intensive Option (best results)
For more significant acute injuries or where an intensive course of treatment is appropriate, five sessions are provided over five to seven days whenever practical.
This programme is designed to provide the highest level of support during the body's initial healing response and may be recommended following assessment.
Humans: £215
Dogs: £190
Horses: £270
Combined Treatment
Where appropriate, red light therapy can be incorporated into an Emmett Technique treatment to complement your session. Recommendations are always based on your individual needs or those of your animal rather than following a routine approach.
Which option is right for me?
Following an assessment, I will recommend the treatment schedule that I believe is most appropriate for your circumstances.
Some clients benefit from a single session, while others achieve better results with a structured programme during the early stages of recovery. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome while avoiding unnecessary appointments.
“Most people start with 3 sessions in a week, and we can step it up if needed”.
*Red light therapy is a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace medical or veterinary diagnosis or treatment. If you have concerns about your health or your animal's health, appropriate medical or veterinary advice should always be sought.*
